Workshop Information

Penny and I are delighted to announce that we will be teaching a combined Core ZB II workshop in late October.
Penny has been practising Zero Balancing since 2010. She is also qualified in Kinesiology and Soul Midwifery, has four grown up children, and lives near Dunkeld. You can read about me (James) here.
You will be supported by this experienced team as you develop your touch skills and integral understanding.
In this workshop, you will deepen your knowledge and understanding of:
- The practice, principles and theory of Zero Balancing
- How to touch body energy and anatomical structure simultaneously
- Developing conscious touch working with ZB bodywork
- The structural/energetic anatomy of the skeleton and joints
- The practical methods of Zero Balancing – fulcrums & vectors
- To give and receive constructive feedback as you share your learning
- A protocol for giving a core Zero Balancing session
You will additionally learn the Core ZB II fulcrums for the pelvis, feet, hips and neck, which significantly add to the therapeutic benefits you are already capable of providing after your first workshop.
Snacks and drinks will be provided, however you will need to source your own lunch. There are plenty of cafés and eateries within walking distance of the venue so that shouldn't prove a challenge! The Youth Hostel also has its own canteen and bar area.
The venue is a 15 minute walk from Edinburgh Waverley train station, a 10 minute walk from Edinburgh Bus Station, a 3 minute walk from the nearest tram stop (McDonald Road) and a 1 minute walk from the nearest bus stop (Elm Row). If you're coming from the airport then the tram is by far the best way to get to the venue.
If you are in need of accommodation, then you may wish to check room availability at the Youth Hostel itself. Failing that, Edinburgh is full of hotels, bed and breakfasts and Airbnbs.
