Workshop Information
Jim McCormick, Zero Balancing Teacher
I am honoured to once again be organising Jim McCormick's return to the UK. For those of you who do not know, Jim is currently the most experienced Zero Balancing teacher in the world. This time Jim will teach a new workshop, ZB: Learning at Your Growing Edge.
This class is a Mastery level, residential, creative laboratory in advanced ZB to explore ease with energy and structure, the process of healing, the “Transformational Spiral,” reading the contents of client’s energy field, and accelerated personal growth. Jim will be teaching from his growing edge, sharing insights into his ZB method as well as his personal process.
The process of mastery takes place on many levels – some of them technical proficiency; some of them personal
development and attunement to yourself, and some of them learning to attune more deeply to the client so they feel safe, met, understood , and connected with.
This goal of this class will be to deepen these attunements and connections by:
- Further extending the learnings from last year's Geometry of Healing.
- Placing a big emphasis on doing our own personal work, exploring our growing edge and cultivating more consciousness in ourselves and in our connections to our clients.
- Getting more precise with our hands in reading the energetic movements (and lack thereof) in our clients –
- including the content of their major process issues.
- Learning about and how to use the “transformational spiral.” (Thank you AEDP.)
- Have fun learning and sharing together and mutually reinforcing our growth producing behaviours.
- Fine tune your existing Fulcrums and protocol, including the ideal depth and power of each fulcrum for each client.

The workshop will take place at Samye Ling Monestary, the largest Tibetan Buddhist monestary in the United Kingdom, based in Southern Scotland.

Travel Arrangements
James organises travel to and from Edinburgh for those who want it. In 2025, the cost was approximately an additional £87 per person. Costs for this are finalised nearer the time.
Uplift is from Market Street, at the south entrance to Edinburgh Waverley train station in the centre of town at 2pm on Wednesday 6th. It will take you straight to the venue, with a journey time of around 2 to 3 hours. The return journey will be direct from Samye Ling back to Market Street at around 4pm on Sunday 10th, with an optional stop at Edinburgh Airport. If you are looking at return flights for that same day, it's best to be safe and not to book one any earlier than 8pm where possible. Feel free to contact James if you'd like to discuss this before booking onto the workshop.
